How it started...
2022. I was suffering from mental exhaustion and covid absolutely played a part in that. I wasn't too big into hiking at the time but I took two weeks off from work, got an airbnb in Gainesville, GA, and planned to go hiking around. It was on a whim and totally random. Before I left, I purchased a Canon Rebel T7 with the 18-55mm lens. Figured I would try out some photography while I was there. Oh man, that vacation changed my life. The combination of hiking and photography, for me, is soul-soothing.
There is something about being out in nature that makes you feel as if you belong.
Hiking is my therapy.

Based in the beautiful landscapes of the Finger Lake region of New York, I am an experienced hiker with a passion for exploring the great outdoors. With numerous trails locally and out of state, I’ve spent years honing my skills in navigation and endurance hiking.
Venturing into the untamed wilderness and navigating rugged terrains are more than just activities to me; they're a way of life. I find solace and exhilaration walking through nature's canvas.
For me, hiking isn't just about reaching a destination; it's about the journey itself. Every step offers a chance to connect with the environment and push the boundaries of my physical and mental endurance.

As an avid photographer, I have always been drawn to the beauty of our natural world. From majestic waterfalls and gorges to the delicate intricacies of a flower, there is something truly captivating about the way nature presents itself. I find great joy in capturing these moments through my lens and sharing them for others to enjoy.
I am always looking for new ways to see the natural world, experimenting with different angles and techniques to bring my photos to life. Through my work, I hope to inspire others to appreciate the beauty of our planet and to recognize the importance of preserving it.
